Randy has been with the company for over 35 years, beginning his career as a Union Apprentice Carpenter and working his way through the ranks to superintendent, becoming a general partner in 1996. Randy oversees all aspects of the company including estimating and project management, giving his complete attention to every ongoing bid and project we undertake. His team first attitude and hands-on project delivery approach have been major contributors to our success over the years.
Paul began his career as a carpenter in the late 1970’s and is approaching 30 years with Marvin Collins Construction where he advanced to his current role where he has the opportunity to exercise his unparalleled problem solving skills and leadership abilities on a daily basis. Paul oversees all ongoing projects, field crews and subcontractors. His wealth of construction knowledge and years of field experience ensure our successful delivery on even the most complex projects.
Adam has been with the company for nearly 15 years, beginning his career as a Laborer, garnering valuable field experience before transitioning into his current position where he leads all aspects of bidding, preconstruction and project management. To bolster his field experience, Adam holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Construction Management from California State University Sacramento.
Sean began his career in construction as a Carpenter out of Local 152 in Martinez, CA. His years in the field provide valuable experience in all aspects of carpentry and other trades as well. As a Superintendent, Sean has completed projects from schools to complex medical buildouts, providing him with extensive experience working under the jurisdiction of OSHPD and DSA. His extensive hands-on and field leadership experience make him a key player in the success of our projects.
Andy has an extensive field background as a Union Carpenter and over the course of his career, has worked in everything from High-Rise Structural Concrete to Interior finishes. He has also worked on several high-profile projects in a supervisory role and fine-tuned his management skills working on complex occupied medical and laboratory facility renovations. Andy's diverse range of experience and hands-on trade skills are a winning combination for his projects and our clients.
After several years of diverse field experience as a Union Carpenter, Chris made the jump to the Superintendent position. In that time he has successfully overseen several critical high-profile projects including high-rise office suites, laboratory buildouts, tech campus renovations and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Chris' hands-on field experience and depth of knowledge in multiple market sectors lend themselves to a well-rounded management style and successful team efforts on all of his projects.
Zoraida holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from California State university, Sacramento. Coming to Marvin Collins Construction from the Roofing & Waterproofing sector, Zoraida brings her specialty knowledge and unwavering work ethic. Zoraida plays a major part in our Management team, supporting all aspects of Estimating and Project management.
After joining MCC as a part-time intern, Christian earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Construction Management from California State University, East Bay. In his current role as a Project Engineer, Christian is instrumental in the management of his projects, facilitating clear lines of communication between the entire team and ensuring our PM's, Superintendents and Subcontractors have everything they need to succeed. He also assists with preconstruction and estimating efforts, giving him a deep understanding of new projects before they are even awarded.
After joining MCC as a part-time intern, Jose earned his . In his current role as a Project Engineer, he is currently working to assist our PM's and Superintendents in the day to day management of several projects including mechanical infrastructure upgrades and laboratory renovations. Jose also plays a key role in our preconstruction and estimating efforts for the projects that he eventually works to manage, making for seamless transitions from precon to operations.
Bryan joined the MCC team as a Project Engineer in 2023. With a field background in Electrical & Telecommunications construction, he possesses technical knowledge of his former trade which contributes to his success in effective communication and project controls. We are excited to see what the future holds for Bryan on the management side.
Oscar is currently pursuing his Bachelors of Science Degree in Construction Management from California State University, East Bay and working as a Project Engineer intern at MCC. Oscar is a dedicated team member, assisting our management team in everything from estimating to closeout.
With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Peggy is our leader when it comes to Accounting and Administration. Peggy is a key player in our administrative team, collaborating to perform all administrative duties associated with the company including bid package preparation, contract administration, billing and payroll. She is also a notary public.
Coming to Marvin Collins Construction after spending over 20 years in the finance industry, Eric is an excellent addition to the company. Eric is a key player on our administrative team, collaborating to perform all accounting & admin duties associated with the company including bid package preparation, contract administration, billing and payroll.
Andrew is a third generation employee of Marvin Collins Construction and member of the Carpenters Union. Aside from his duties as a Journeyman Carpenter, Andrew is an asset in the shop and in the field, assisting with site logistics as well as helping to coordinate equipment and material delivery to project sites all over the San Francisco Bay Area. Andrew is a graduate of the Northern California Carpenters Regional Council Apprenticeship Program.
